Often underlooked, your mental health plays a big part in your everyday life. If not taken care properly it may lead to serious illness.
Because it impacts how we think, feel and act on a daily basis. So how can we properly take care of it? Especially now that we are in the midst of this COVID-19 pandemic, we need to be physically and mentally fit.
Here are ways to improve your mental health;
Get plenty of sleep
Sleep is really important for our physical and mental health. Sleep helps to regulate the chemicals in our brain that transmit information. These chemicals are important in managing our moods and emotions. If we don't get enough sleep, we can start to feel depressed or anxious.
Connect with others and be sociable
Being away to your friends and family can take an emotional toll on you. So make sure that you connect constantly with your family and friends, whether social media or over the phone after all, as the saying goes, no man is an island.

Eat healthy
As the majority of us have been on a work from home set up, it is important that we also be conscious of what we eat. Eating well isn't just important for our bodies, but it's also important for our minds. Most of the time what we eat determines our mood and the way we think. Make sure to eat healthy and fresh.
